Honor Garden

Honor Garden Concept

The Honor Garden will serve as an extension of the Securing the Future Honor Endowment. It will provide an area of recognition for honorees and those participating in the endowment. The garden will be an area complete with recognition bricks, low-growing trees, plants, flowers and benches. It will be a serene setting that will inspire remembrance, meditation and relaxation. It will provide motivation to those with a desire to contribute to the mission of Saint Paul Lutheran High School.

Purpose
The garden will provide that special sanctuary for students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, donors and visitors to reflect and honor those who have made a financial commitment to Christian education at Saint Paul Lutheran High School.

Program Function
The recognition bricks will complete the three-part donor gift to those participating in the endowment. The lapel pin is given to participants making the financial commitment. The plaque is presented to the honoree or honorees. The brick will be engraved with the name of the honorees and installed in the honor garden.

Extended Benefits
The Honor Endowment will provide an entry level (tier one) donation means for younger donors and Alumni to participate.

Site Description
The proposed area dimension will be 12ft. by 12 ft. Total bricks available will be approximately 550 for this first phase. Additional phases can be added in the form of sidewalks, walls or enlarged area dimensions.
