Dear beloved Families, Friends and Alumni,

            We here at Saint Paul would like to extend to you an invitation to our 125^th Anniversary Homecoming/Parent’s Weekend celebration. Our theme this year is “Stayin’ Alive at 125,” so for all you disco dudes/divas, dig out those leisure suits and get ready to have a blast! This is a special year for us and we would like everyone to join us as we celebrate 125 year of Saint Paul Lutheran High School.

            Our Lady Saints kick off the festivities on Thursday, October 11, at 6:00 with a volleyball match versus the Orrick Bearcats in Weis Gymnasium. Directly following the game everyone will boogie over to the football field for a pep rally and a bonfire/weenie roast at the circle of trees. The parents will have a skit. The cheerleaders will do a dance. It promises to be a good time.

            Then Friday night our Saint Paul Saints football team will battle the Santa Fe Chiefs starting at 7:00. Get yourself ready for the game at the Friends of Saint Paul tailgate party. Hinck Farms will be catering behind the Dining Hall, so stop in and get a bite to eat before the game. During half time we will crown our 2007 Homecoming king and queen. After the game Friends of Saint Paul will put on a world party where you can eat delicious food and catch up with all your Saint Paul pals. The students will be putting on a disco of their own Friday night, so if you would like to dance the night away you are more than welcome.

           Saturday morning families are invited to tour the school and see what it is like to be a student here at Saint Paul. Teachers will be available in their classrooms and Pastor Mehl and Mr. Lemmons will be available to talk with everyone. Join us in the Dining Hall Saturday night for our Homecoming Banquet and auction. Our students will show off their various gifts at the Saint’s talent show following the banquet.

            These are just the highlights for our Homecoming/Parent’s Weekend activities. Make sure to keep you eyes open for any other events planned. We would love for you to join us as we continue “Stayin’ Alive at 125!”
